The Long Exhale Retreat
Kenya- TBA, 2026
Rest. Explore. Exhale.
Do better, feel better and above all else, acknowledge where you are now."- Dorina Phoenix
You've read the articles. You know you need to rest, yet here you are still going, still holding it together, still promising yourself you'll slow down when things calm down.
They don't calm down. You know that too.
This isn't another wellness retreat with a packed schedule and a certificate at the end. There are no workshops to get through. No transformation to perform. No version of yourself to become by Sunday.
The Long Exhale is nine days on the Kenyan coast where the only thing required of you is to arrive and stay. To stop. To let your nervous system remember what quiet feels like. To acknowledge, honestly, where you are right now and find that's enough.
Your body is calling for rest;
it’s time to listen.
What Makes This Retreat Different?*
Rest is the programme. Most retreats leave you needing a holiday from the holiday. This one is designed around spaciousness long mornings, unhurried afternoons, time to journal, wander, or simply be.
Guided gently, not packed tightly. Each day includes one anchor session with your hosts drawing on embodiment practices, breathwork, journaling, and hypnotherapy with the rest of the day held loosely.
Experience Kenya as an insider. Every location carries personal meaning to your host. You'll be shown the history, stories, and quieter corners that most visitors never find.
A real digital detox. Dedicated time away from phones and social media is woven into the journey not as a rule, but as an invitation.
A small, intentional group. Six women only. Room to breathe, room to connect, room to be quiet when you need it.
What You’ll Take Away
The Long Exhale
You’ll leave with:
A body that has genuinely rested
Clarity on what your next chapter feels like , not just what it looks like
Simple, practical tools to anchor presence into everyday life
A renewed trust in your own instincts and timing
Memories of real conversations, wide open landscapes, and something that shifted
"This is more than a getaway, it's a chance to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and step into a renewed chapter of your life."
This retreat is for you if you’re:
You're exhausted by a life that looks great from the outside
You've done the therapy, read the books, and still can't seem to stop
You want to travel meaningfully but not alone
You're in a season of transition and need space to feel into it not push through it
You're done performing wellness and ready to actually rest
You're drawn to depth, silence, and nature over itineraries and Instagram moments
You want to reconnect with yourself somewhere beautiful, held by a small group of women who get it
This is not a reward you have to earn. You already qualify.
If this feels right for you, trust that feeling.
Dates: TBA 2026
